A Pub Reimagined
One of our key specialities is converting once commercial premises into functional and luxurious living spaces. Introducing our Grosvenor Road project in St. Pauls, Bristol.
Up and down the UK, pubs stand empty and disused. Here at Isteni Interiors, we think that’s a travesty. So when we were tasked with the job of turning a historic Bristol pub into six luxurious living spaces, we jumped at the opportunity.
The brief was as complex as it was challenging. However, we never let a little thing like difficulty get in the way of creativity.
Our team delivered a space that showcased the quintessential Bristolian art scene with flair and abandon. We spent hours assessing colour pallets and furnishings to strike the right tone.
We must have been doing something right. How do we know? Because our creative intervention added £100K to the expected GDV.
Preserving Heritage, Building the Future
At Isteni Interiors, we turn historic spaces into modern treasures. Our Clifton project – a stunning Grade II listed Georgian building in Bristol’s poshest patch – was crying out for a fresh start. The brief? Transform it into five luxury flats that respect its heritage while adding a chic, modern vibe.
No small feat, but we love a challenge.
We carefully blended original features, like grand cornices, with sleek furnishings and bold finishes to create spaces that feel both timeless and fresh. Every detail, from light-filled layouts to clever storage, maximised space and flow for tenants and buyers.
The result?
A cracking 20% valuation uplift and 15% rental yield boost, smashing the expected GDV. These serviced apartments and flips proved Bristol’s past can shine with modern flair.
Adding Value Through Design
Our Redfield project – a faded Bristol terrace desperate for love – was a chance to work magic. The goal? Build a warm, practical home for a bustling family, bursting with Bristol’s boho vibe.
Tough? Sure, but we thrive on tough challenges. We carved out open, flowing spaces with smart layouts, making every corner count. Vibrant textiles and eclectic art brought boho flair, paired with tough-as-nails furniture for kid-friendly living. Each choice was crafted to make daily life a breeze while turning heads.
This flip netted a 30% profit, blowing expectations out of the water. Our design transformed this Redfield gem into a family sanctuary and a market success story, proving that well-thought-out spaces deliver big returns.
Love and Imagination Work Wonders
Our Bishopston project was a neglected end-of-terrace in Bristol left to gather dust. Put bluntly, this smart little house was begging for a revival.
The goal was to create a warm, family-friendly home that’s “neutral but not boring” for broad appeal. Tough ask? We love those.
We opened up the layout for enhanced flow, making every corner feel spacious. Warm neutrals, industrial black accents, and earthy furnishings brought stylish yet practical vibes, perfect for a growing family. Each choice, from clever storage to bold textures, was crafted for easy living and eye-catching charm.
The result? A not-too-shabby 25% return on the flip, thrilling our client. Our design breathed life into this Bishopston gem, crafting a family sanctuary that’s a market hit.
